Where Do I Find Assignments/Grades?
-To check your grades and/or missing assignments, utilize Sapphire:
    • Parents/guardians can create a Sapphire account by contacting our admin building
-Most assignments and due dates are posted on Google Classroom. Students can add their parents/guardians as a viewer to each class through adding their email address(es)
-If you/your student would benefit from one-on-one time with a teacher/teachers to get help and/or make up assignments, please take advantage of our after school FLEX
    • Flex runs from 2:55-3:30. Prior arrangements need to be made with the teacher to ensure availability. At 3:30, students can either ride the activity bus home, walk home, or be picked up.

Grading Scale:
93-100% = A
85-92% = B
77-84% = C
70-76% = D
Below 70% = F

Important Tips for Success
-If you/your student would benefit from better organization, stop by the counseling office for a binder. We also encourage students to use some sort of planner to keep track of assignments; whether that be a physical one or a digital one on the computer.
-It is also beneficial to get in the practice of charging your Chromebook every night at home to avoid it dying at school during the day.
-If your phone is going to be a distraction during the school day, leave it in your locker or powered off.
-If you are concerned about whether or not you will pass a class for the school year, look on your latest report card for your average grade in that class. At the end of the school year, that average needs to be at LEAST a 70% for you to successfully complete/pass the class.
-Here is a good article to read about study skills: https://kidshealth.org/en/kids/studying.html
-Lastly, your school counselors are here to check in with about anything academic. We try to meet with students whose grades need some help, but will meet with anyone upon request.
