Mr. David Wright, Principal
Mr. David Wright brings to East Pennsboro 25 years of experience in education, the last 15 as an administrator in Dauphin and Lebanon counties, both as a middle school and high school principal, including last year at EPAMS.
Mr. Wright grew up in the city of Philadelphia, the son of a Philadelphia Police Officer, and graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in English. He later earned his Master’s Degree at California University of Pennsylvania. He is also a veteran of the US Navy.
After a year of substitute teaching, Mr. Wright spent nine years serving the East Pennsboro community as a high school English teacher from 1998 through 2006, followed by a year as the EPHS Dean of Students. After spending six years as an assistant principal and principal in the Central Dauphin School District, four years as principal at Annville-Cleona, and four years as principal of Dauphin County Technical School, he returned to East Pennsboro in 2021 as middle school principal and completed his 15th year as a school administrator.
Mr. Wright is married to Greta, and they have two great kids. Tanner is a sophomore at Millersville University, participating in ROTC and serving in the PA National Guard. Quinn is entering the 9th grade at Halifax High School where she is recognized as an outstanding student and musician.
The 2022-23 school year will be filled with challenges and opportunities for students, staff, and families to grow and learn together. Mr. Wright considers himself lucky to be a part of it.
