Dani Maxwell
Dani Maxwell teaches 7th grade Science at the Middle School, as well as oversees the Science Fair. She has many years of healthcare and subbing experience. Dani received her Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 1996, her Bachelors of Healthcare Administration from Madison in 2006, her Bachelors in Elementary Education from Western Governor's University in 2021, and her Masters in Secondary Education, Biology from Western Governor's University in 2022, and has been teaching since 2021.
Dani says: "This is my 4th year teaching. Teaching is my second career following 30 years in healthcare. I live in the district, my daughter, Sierra graduated from EP, my son, Ethan is in 4th grade at EPE and my other son, Lance is in 2nd grade special ed at EPE (and they are fantastic). My husband, Rob is a 1993 graduate of EP.
I love teaching 7th grade science, it was the perfect transition from healthcare to teaching because it is biology! I enjoy telling the students stories from the field to relate what they are learning to the real world. I have always wanted to teach and could not be happier to be in the classroom!"
