Heather Miller

Heather Miller teaches 8th grade US History and is the Team Leader Phoenix Team.  She is also a National Junior Honor Society Co-Advisor, National History Day Teacher, Ski Club Advisor, and the 8th Grade Award Ceremony Recognition Coordinator.  Heather has been at EPASD since 1998, first as the Aquatics Director and then as a US History Teacher.  She received her Masters in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2021, and er Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine with and Education Minor in 1998 from Alderson Broaddus University.

 

Heather says:  "I am married with 2 children and lots of pets. My hobbies include traveling, skiing, reading, and adventure, and my favorite things are coffee, Harry Potter & the beach. Fun Fact - I've fostered two baby monkeys!"
