Paula Shermeyer

Paula Shermeyer teaches 6th grade Reading at the Middle School.  She is also a Team Leader, Department Leader, Head Girls Basketball Coach and Field Hockey, and the Spring Associate AD.  Paula has been teaching since 1992.  She received her BS from Lebanon Valley College and her M.Ed. and Reading Specialist Certification from Cabrini College.

 

Paula says:  "I am married to my husband, Joe, who teaches science at East Pennsboro. We have three children who are all proud East Pennsboro graduates. Our son Jacob is now coaching football at Lycoming College, our son Joshua teaches social studies at East Pennsboro, and our daughter Josie is in her final year of college. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy attending Josie’s field hockey games and coaching girls’ basketball at EP. I love spending time with my family, cheering on our favorite sports teams, taking walks, and relaxing at the beach while enjoying my favorite seafood. A fun fact about me is that I once won a crab-eating contest because I was the fastest to clean and eat a dozen—YUM!"
