Michael Carchidi

Michael Carchidi is a 6th grade STEM teacher at the Middle School.  He is also involved in Builders Club.  Michael has 22.5 years of teaching experience -- all at East Pennsboro Area Middle School.  He received his BS in Elementary Education from Elizabethtown College.

 

Michael says:  "I am happily married to my wife, Amy.  We have two children that attend EPHS, Makayla and Jackson.  I have three dogs, a 2-year-old chocolate lab named Waltzing Matilda Pickles (Tilly), a 7-year-old wire-haired dachshund named Augustus (Gus), and a 12-year-old chihuahua pomeranian mix named Shadow.  I also have a cat, Princess Lilly Cupcake, (Lilly). I love the beach and spend at least 2 weeks of my summer at the shore.  I enjoy camping with my family, especially by a lake.  Each summer we try to visit a different part of the United States and explore what it has to offer.  I love being a dad and enjoy keeping busy with all the activities that involves.  I like to cook and bake but often don't make time to do it more."
